Dive Into Learning Fun

Welcome to Kids Cove!

At Kids Cove Learning Academy (KCLA), we invite you and your kids to jump feet-first into learning. Education research points repeatedly to these early years as being the most crucial toward development, and KCLA wants to be your learning partner in helping these children grow.

When these young students’ unique gifts start to surface, a collaborative effort is best at maximizing potential. Toward this end, the KCLA staff use their training, care, and creativity toward creating a flexible, mutually supportive learning environment. And by collaborating closely with families and caregivers, we can bring the very best out of every child.

Leonardo da Vinci suggested that water is the driving force of all nature; KCLA believes that education is the driving force of human nature. An insatiable love of learning will carry our children far into adulthood…and together we can help them navigate the currents.

Shining Examples

KCLA is one of the latest additions to the Early Learning Academies family, which encompasses the best and brightest learning centers nationwide to provide high-quality, early childhood education. We believe that readying children for school, supporting their growth, and preparing them to succeed lay a strong foundation to excel in later years. As a state-licensed facility, KCLA offers full- and part-time options for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and Florida Voluntary Pre-K students, plus before- and after-school and summer camp programs for local elementary-aged students.

Our infants and one-year-olds are busy little creators! 🎨 Through coloring and finger painting, they’re strengthening their fine motor skills, building hand-eye coordination, and exploring textures in a fun, hands-on ways. These early experiences help lay the foundation for future writing and independence—all while making a colorful (and sometimes messy!) masterpiece 💛✨

For our one-year-olds, using crayons is especially powerful! 🖍️ Grasping and scribbling with crayons helps strengthen tiny hand muscles, supports the development of a proper grip, and encourages early pre-writing skills. It also allows them to express themselves, build focus, and gain confidence as they begin to make their own marks on paper which is an exciting first step in their learning journey!

Our VPK chefs had a Seuss-tastic cooking adventure making their own version of Green Eggs and Ham! Using pudding, a touch of green food coloring, and vanilla wafers, the children practiced measuring, mixing, and spreading while exploring colors and textures.

Cooking activities like this help build fine motor skills, encourage curiosity, and make learning deliciously fun! 💚🍳
